If you have a laptop which has a ralink3090 wireless card you will need the following to make it work with Ubuntu Lucid:

The driver works fine, but you have to download it manually.

sudo apt-get update

To get rt3090 in Lucid Lynx:

1. Go to https://launchpad.net/~markus-tisoft/+archive/rt3090 and locate the link for "View Package Details"

2. Click the link, and expand the package of rt3090 for Karmic. Download rt3090-dkms_2.3.1.3-0ubuntu0~ppa1_all.deb.

3. When it downloads, some packagekit install should pop up automatically when you click on it.
