Consistent Logging

I recently had the age old error:

   SLF4J: No SLF4J providers were found.
   SLF4J: Defaulting to no-operation (NOP) logger implementation

This was mid-coding, right when I needed logs to “display” :)

This will also prevent the error:

java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: 'java.lang.ClassLoader ch.qos.logback.core.util.Loader.systemClassloaderIfNull(java.lang.ClassLoader)

I added the following to my pom.xml:

      <groupId>ch.qos.logback</groupId>
      <artifactId>logback-classic</artifactId>
      <version>1.4.13</version>
    </dependency>

    <dependency>
      <groupId>ch.qos.logback</groupId>
      <artifactId>logback-core</artifactId>
      <version>1.4.13</version>
    </dependency>
</dependency>
