Back in 1995 when I started using the Internet there were not as many places to hunt for a solution to an issue (I don’t have problems).

The issue usually focussed on some Perl which “smelt”. Delve into an OReilly or post on a Usenet news group book and off you went with a solution.

Roll on to today, and loads of people are using this Internet thing.

As the audience has increased, so have the number of people asking “I am new to this technology”. Can you please tell me where to find a good tutorial on xxxxx. The more postings / raw data which are indexed by Google - the more time consuming searches become.

I think we need to get back to people trying to find a solution before they post a question on a site.
